Book Your Place on Our Half Day Training Course

David Murphy

Our new training business, The Mobile Training Academy (MTA), has just a few places left on our first Half Day Intermediate Course, which takes place in London from 9.30am - 12.30pm on Wednesday, 9 November.

The course provides an overview of the role mobile phones and tablets now play throughout the purchase cycle in boosting customer acquisition, improving retention and enabling transactions.

It is divided into four sections. The Mobile Landscape section looks at mobile ownership and usage, plus the industry trends and technology development that make mobile an essential channel for B2C and B2B businesses. The next section, Challenges, summarises the key challenges to conducting successful mobile marketing campaigns, including permission; handset and tablet diversity; data management; and integrating mobile with clients’ digital and wider communications plans.

The third section, Mobile Format Selection, outlines the various mobile formats and techniques available, and how they work for today’s brands and consumers. This section covers SMS; mobile sites; apps; mobile advertising and search; Location-based Services; QR codes: Augmented Reality;  mobile coupons and payments; and Near Field Communication.

The final section, Getting Started, offers practical advice on moving from mobile trial to delivering coherent, future-proof, effective, measurable mobile promotions, which deliver long-term, profitable solutions for your customers.

The course will be highly interactive. Attendees should bring their handsets and tablets to trial some of the campaigns featured in the case studies which will illustrate much of the course.

We have designed the course to suit client-side marketing, CRM or eCommerce managers and executives wanting to get up to speed with the latest mobile industry trends and formats, and relevant recent case studies. It would also suit account managers and executives in digital and media agencies.

The course takes place at 15, Hatfields, London SE1 8DJ from 9.30am - 12.30pm on Wednesday 9 Nov 2011, and costs £350 + VAT per delegate. It will be presented by experienced trainer and mobile marketer, Rob Thurner.
