David Murphy

Qualcomm has begun accepting developer submissions for the company’s $200,000 (£125,000) Augmented Reality (AR) Developer Challenge. Submissions will be accepted until 7 January, 2011 and the winners will be announced on 14 February, 2011 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The challenge, which offers $125,000 to the winner, $50,000 for second place, and $25,000 for third place, offers developers an opportunity to bring computer graphics and real-world objects together creatively by using the Qualcomm AR SDK to publish games, educational apps and media & marketing tools.
